About Us

Conover Quilt Company is locally owned and operated by Nancy and Mark Price. 

Nancy was taught to sew from a young age by her mother. She began her interest in quilting when her children were young, and took a break from sewing to focus on going back to school to receive her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Law. She began quilting again a few years ago and enjoys the creativity that sewing and quilting offers. Currently, Nancy splits her time between her position as a School Nutrition Director, her family, and now the quilt store. 

Mark has also sewn all his life, being taught by his mom and grandma. Mark is an Army veteran and has worked in upholstery for over 15 years. He has enjoyed learning to quilt and loves making quilts of his own creation. 

Nancy's daughter, Jennifer also works in the store. She is knowledgeable with the computer programming and is learning to work our automated system. Jennifer will also be able to help create personalized designs if you cannot find one in our library or online, and has a great eye for matching and coordinating fabrics.

Our goal is to provide the best customer service and products possible, with the largest selection of fabrics and supplies in our area that will meet everyone's needs, from the beginning sewer to the avid quilter.
