In this class we will explain and demonstrate multiple ways to bind your quilts and/or projects. Learn the following binding techniques -
- How to piece and prepare your binding strips
- Attaching and finish your double-sided binding strips
- Stitch in the ditch Binding
- How to Self-Bind
- Creating Flange Binding
- Creating Faux-Flange Binding
- Bias Binding
- Scissors/snips
- Pins
- Sewing Machine
- Small Ruler or Gauge
| Skill Level: | Beginner |
| Skill Details: | Class will cover the basics of multiple ways to bind projects. Students will be utilizing scissors, pins and may utilize rotary cutters, which are sharp, and should excerise caution when handling these tools. Measuring and understanding measurements will be used throughout the class. |
| Materials Included: | Samples for students to complete will be provided |
| Requirements: | Will need sewing knowledge. Bring the following to class to help complete your samples- -Scissors/snips -pins -Sewing machine -Small ruler or gauge |
